Villa Cava, a collaboration between architecture studio Espacio 18 and Kayla Pongrác Studio, is a brutalist-inspired holiday home located in Tulum’s Aldea Zamá neighbourhood. Drawing inspiration from Mexico’s cenotes, the home features board-formed concrete, geometric skylights, and a dramatic circular window revealing a rooftop pool. The interior design complements the rugged architecture with light timber accents, neutral-toned furniture, and smooth concrete finishes, creating a warm and minimalist atmosphere. This "habitable sculpture" seamlessly blends timeless design with natural elements, offering a serene yet striking retreat.
