With her previous design studio, Iron and Ivory, Kayla Pongrác crafted a modern French bistro within the Metcalfe Hotel, blending sophistication with approachability. The design thoughtfully selected materials, furniture, and lighting to transition seamlessly from day to night, complementing the chef's menu. During daylight, the space exudes a light, natural ambiance with subtle tonal variations. As evening sets in, a warm, soft glow emerges, highlighting richer elements through strategic lighting to create a cozy atmosphere. An open-concept layout and interconnected spaces encourage guests to move freely and mingle, enhancing the overall dining experience.
